:) I did manage to make work many aspects… I am configuring furniture objects in a kitchen by dragging them… The most annoying part is it sometimes you need to insist to touch the wall edge with the dragging. I am thinking of a way to place as you suggested somewhere else some invisible spots on the floor where the object can be placed. Thx

I did it in a function GlifTek which I call in the puzzles. Not know how to make yet a puzzle from it but it works… I will need to cleanup my code :) Took all [[x,y]… 4 corners and compared :) Thx for opening my eyes :yahoo:

As I drag objects on xy I did calculate for now, the x,y coords for each box corner and compared based on 3D Collision Detection … however something is not perfect and I get a console print “Collision detected with object …” but if I continue dragging “stronger” I get over the “barrier”. Any ideea how to stop dragging somehow… any trick ? I now restore the x,y for the dragged object to initial state…

I get X position for an object and is it output as -0 instead of expecting 0. This look strange for me. Any hint please ?

One mesh, as I’ve found is easier to key-shape in this way than having separate objects and then cascade moving them when resizing walls.

:yahoo: it looks the origin center of mass was the issue… I did set the origin on the left bottom from vertex to be able to snap nicely and align objects… I will try to find a way of working … Thank you and keeping a cold beer around for you ;)

but first attachment still not works with this trick… I use there 3 already scaled cubes, maybe that is the issue ?

    Issue

Object remain hanged after a short fall!

I did try but no success… please maybe check the attachment:
    blend physics needed ?
Do I need to setup something in blender too ?

I’ve attached a zip file with a copy of the cubes which also fall through the box panel bellow.

Did you mean like this Mikhail https://pasteboard.co/JKwUNou.png ?
Probably not, as I get the same result…

Please see in the attached zip file the physics issue I am experiencing. Enable disable dynamic rigid body creation to see that without it the boxes are sitting correctly in the corner.

Please advise me where I do wrong ?
