    Is it possible to create an xray-shader or Shilhouette shader inside Blender ? Are there any examples ?

    There’s no x-ray-like material but for shilhouette rendering you can use outline. You can find an example of outlining in Teapot Heater demo.

    I tried the outline shader – but it does not follow armature deformations…. am i missing something ?

    Sorry, but outline doesn’t work with the skinning, only with object animation.
