    OK.. I really like the lightprobes and Reflection Cube maps but there is a problem when it comes to video textures….I am sure you are already aware…but to illustrate the problem.

    I have a tv screen next to a glass wall. My initial material for the screen is a stand in graphic….company logo sort of thing. Then during startup I replace the material with the video and it looks great and runs great…but….reflections….not so much.

    The reflection is an image of the temporary stand in file. Given the way the reflections are calculated I guess this makes sense.

    So what I am hoping we can do is setup a parameter in Blender that says don’t reflect this surface? This way when we get to verge the screen is just left out of the reflected surfaces….I rather it not be there than something wrong….my two cents. For now I will just change out the temp image to something similar to the video itself.
