    Hello everyone,

I want to make a transition effect like that done to the colors in the Swiss knife in the advanced tutorial, yet I’m facing a problem (with Maya I believe), Facing Ratio from the samplerInfo node is working well with the ramp node (as displayed in working.png), once I connect colorConstant nodes to the color slot, it stops working and instead gives this weird shading (as displayed in not_working.png)… any ideas?

Can you share your file example?

It worked, but using the blend instead of the ramp… when using colorConstants with color the color gets messed up and these colors don’t even appear in the material puzzle.

but it turned out pretty successful :yahoo:
