I currently have my scene over a transparent background because i want to see the background image of the webpage behind through part of the scene. But when I turn on a post processing effect the background turns black. Is it not possible to use transparency and post-processing together?

It’s possible and it works with all post-processing passes except the afterimage effect.

Puzzles and JS. Fast and expensive.

If you don’t see the meaning in something it primarily means that you just don’t see it but not the absence of meaning at all.

And of course that is the effect I am trying to use… hm. I wonder if I can turn on a background while that effect is present. Mainly the problem is that I do not want it to be black.

Let me explain, I turn the effect on at a certain moment in the animation and then off again later. I need the transparency but if I cannot have that while the after-image effect is happening, I’d like to specify what the background will be: a color or to show my environment texture.

Maybe its as simple as applying an environment texture and then turning it off again when I want the transparency back?

Does anyone know a way to toggle ‘transparent’ on and off??? (via puzzles or code?)

    That’s perfect!
Thank you so much again, my friend.
