You can set the limits for the camera in 3ds Max camera settings.

Unfortunately, the proper development of such a feature would take at least several days. My advice is to use some other approach for now or hire a developer.

is it gonna take more then 2 weeks ?

It would take at least several days. But we have other tasks to do right now, so my advice is to hire a developer. This feature does not require changes in the core of the engine, so any developer experienced in Verge3D/Three.js can do that.

how much it will cost me to hire a developer ?

I suggest you create a topic on the Jobs and Opportunities forum so that you can receive bids directly from experienced Verge3D users.

    Hello again,

Thanks to recent developments, it is now possible to make an object look at the mouse cursor:

    https://cdn.soft8soft.com/AROAJSY2GOEHMOFUVPIOE:0b0dcbd876/applications/my_awesome_app/my_awesome_app.html

In 3ds Max, the cube follows a dummy object by utilizing Rotation Controllers / LookAt Constraint (in Blender, this corresponds to TrackTo constraint).

In Verge3D 2.11pre2, it is possible to map the position of the dummy to mouse cursor with the get camera direction puzzle and some simple math.

    Source project attached.

Good Evening! Would you mind going over this process for verge3d 3.4+, unless nothing has changed.. I can’t seem to find the last numbers piece that i need in the camera puzzle. I’m wondering if it has been removed?

What is the new process for getting the camera to follow the mouse?

    Thanks alot.
