I have applied leather material to this AR chair in blender 3.4.

I have tried to try the fresnel+mix-RGB from the scooter demo. But not much influence.

Any idea on how to make it look better in AR?

side note: after looking further, it seems the hdr lighting is not comming through. setting the world strength from 1, 2, 3, does not really make a difference. How can this happen?

try to link the diffuse map with the emission input.

Puzzles and JS. Fast and expensive.

If you don’t see the meaning in something it primarily means that you just don’t see it but not the absence of meaning at all.

I will try, but i think the color will become to grey with emission.
But i noticed the scooter demo has a leathery seat, it has no emission, just diff, rgh, nrm map. it has a very clean seat-material look. I am supprissd that my setup with the same maps is so different

Tested with diff map to emission, but no effect.

I changed a few other things. I removed the roughness map node, and set the specular to full (1). Then is works. It seems the roughness map (which is correct in sneak preview) is not helping in AR-mode.

Now the leather surface is visible, also with leather structure. Be it that this structure is still al little too vage compared to the sneak preview.
