I created a topic almost 3 weeks ago but it seems to have stalled out or something after only 1 reply.
I was told Falloff map node is in fact supported to create materials with Fresnel/viewing angle effect, but I cannot get it to work, I’ve tried every setting available to me but I cannot produce anything in sneak peak or exported except pure black/pure white/or a simple grey shaded material.
I’ve attached the 3ds max file below with the HDRI along with screenshots, can someone help me I’ve been pulling my hair out over this issue for over 3 weeks now.

Hi Alexander, thank you for the reply.
So from my experimenting with that scene you gave me the Falloff node IS supported, it just doesn’t work with anything other than Fresnel mode, and doesn’t respect the Mix Curve whatsoever, is that correct?

If that is correct could that please be reflected in the 3ds Max Manual?

Or better yet since that is completely functional in both the Maya and Blender versions could the “perpendicular/parallel” mode and the “Mix Curve” on the falloff node please be implemented to be functional?

    it would be greatly appreciated.
