Is it possible to disable the specular and only use diffuse?
When I uncheck specular in spotlight in max, verge doesnt seem to care.

It would be even better if I could control single materials of getting specular from particular lights, if possible

It’s not possible for now. Nothing from this list, so it’s a good topic for request forum).

Okay, should I add it as a request in the proper forum?

Also is there maybe for the time being a javascript approach?

You can always use the non-physical Standard material and disable specular level in its settings.

Hmm, okay. But I dont want to disable the specular completely. I need the environment for reflections but use one of the spotlights just for diffuse.

I see! I’m going to add this feature to our TODO list.

Great thank you very much :good:

I think that as verge is getting bigger and bigger and more popular, we need to have more control over certain things.

Many 3d-artists are faking things to make the product look as good as it can. Disable specular, diffuse for certain objects. Or exclude whole lights from different geometries. It would be really great to have all this abilities in verge.
