In 3DS Max, Verge3D throws an error when I use a bitmap plugged into the Roughness input on a standard Physical Material when the ‘gltfCompat’ option is selected on the material.

Is there a way around this?

I attached a picture of the error.

Hi, can you please provide more info on this:

    1) Verge3D version
    2) 3ds Max version
    3) maybe a scene or a cleaned-up variant so we can reproduce this issue ourselves

    I’m using Verge3D 3.8 and 3DS Max 2022 (24.0 – 24.0.0.923).

I attached a test file for you.

One material exports fine and the other one does not. You’ll see it in the file.

It has to do with the roughness bitmap it seems. Why does one work and the other doesn’t? The one that works I exported to .fbx and then imported back in.
