    Hi!

When I apply shape keys to a mesh that is 23000 vertices, the Sneak peek and the *.gltf export freeze, Blender freezes and doesn’t write that file.

I run a quite powerful MSI with 16 gigs of ram and a geforce970m.
I allocate 12 gigs to Blender and I run it as an admin.

What is please your diagnostic? Is the mesh too heavy?

Is there a way to interrupt the export without having to close Blender with the W10 task manager? The escape key doesn’t interrupt the export; no key in fact. Not even Alt f4 closes Blender.

Does it make sense to ask about allocating more resources to your scripts? Or do they completely rely on resources allocated to Blender?

Any diagnostic, workaround and trick would be much appreciated

    Hi,

We were able to reproduce this issue – now looking into. Thanks for reporting this! :good:

It actually exports but really slow (up to several minutes). We will surely put efforts to optimize this. Meanwhile I’d suggest making a lower-poly model.

    Great! Thank You Ri
What about also reducing the frame rate? Would it get any impact?

Please, note that I don’t receive any email when you answer, even if I, of course, check the adequate checkbox. Could you, please, fix that small issue?

You mean make WebGL frame rate lower than 60 FPS?

I checked: clicking “Subscribe” on the top of a topic works for me. Email notifications are being sent. May be they are just going straight to spam?

    Hi!
Reducing the poly count worked fine; however a lower frame rate, less resources consumption as well; is it right?

I get used to watch my spam box the way I watch the regular emails, as I web for about 20 years, and I know that important emails often “fall” wrongly :negative:
Anyways, I received two email alerts from the forum today, however with the BB code embedded :)
I also received an email with the answer to a post I didn’t write, is it, please, normal?

Anyways this forum posts issue is really secondary :good:

    yes, generally speaking it’s true

also received an email with the answer to a post I didn’t write, is it, please, normal?

This is probably because you accidentally subscribed to that post. :)
