    I have created a very simple sample demo of this

    https://v3d.net/8do – this is WebXR only…not IOS.

    Blender 3.1.2
    Verge3d 3.91

    Using the AR demo I have simplified it down to highlight the problem.

    Scene: a cylinder and sphere that are controlled via puzzles to toggle/hide when a user presses a plane object called button.

    The application works BUT…the on-clicks puzzles are ignored unless the camera is close to the Button plane/object.

    How can I make the on-clicks work regardless of the distance to the camera? Is there a way to define the distance?

    Hi,
    Thanks for the test scene, it helped a lot! We’ve checked this issue and it appears it’s gone in some of the pre-releases of Verge3D 4.0. Feel free to download pre5 to check it now or wait till the stable release is out (expected in a few days).

    Puzzles and JS. Fast and expensive.

    If you don’t see the meaning in something it primarily means that you just don’t see it but not the absence of meaning at all.

    Ok great to know … look forward to production release.

    However, the ability to control functionality based on proximity would be useful under certain circumstances.

    Any methods available to us to control this?
