    Hi Kovelenov Brothers ! ;-)
So, i tried Verge and here is a quick feedback :
    – I started a new project (purple cube by default), i just added a plane, put the cube up, change the upper light to spot light and after checking settings, into Blender viewport we can see a sharp shadow on the plane, but there is no shadow cast in the browser.
    – When i start Blender, i’ve got the default scene of blender appearing, so i click on “App manager” for opening the manager, after i click on the Blender icon of the project blend file for opening it, so now i have got 2 opened windows, the first is useless so i close it… and when i close the first opened window the verge server http://localhost:8668 is broken, how to restart the server ?
    – I tried Puzzles, it’s very funny to use, in selectors section i only can choose the plane, not the cube.
    – By default, the Orbit Camera control in the Sneek peek view is a real pain to use, increment is too much tiny, for turning around the scene it’s very sloooowwwww
    – In the forum (this topic), i can’t submit a file with this topic, i’ve got this error ()

So, here is a quick feedback, i’ve got not so much time to spend this evening for diving in it much more, but when i will can i will test more advanced features, for exemple the API improvements you made compare to the three.js API ;-)

Where can we find a clear section about terms of use of the verge licence please ?

    See you soon

the error message when i want to attach a file in the topic :

my_awesome_app.blend: File is empty. Please upload something more substantial. This error could also be caused by uploads being disabled in your php.ini or by post_max_size being defined as smaller than upload_max_filesize in php.ini.

Hi Brice and welcome to Verge3D forums!

Thank you for your feedback, I’ll try to answer at least some of your questions.

    – shadow question: make sure your plane has a material assigned; also check Enable Shadows in Render tab

    – the dev server goes down when you close the original Blender. I think we’ll fix that by restarting the server by clicking either Sneak Peek or App Manager button. Good catch!

    – the object selector is implemented as a drop-down menu with all scene objects listed there. May be your cube is hidden in that list?

    – regarding Orbit Camera – what is your operating system?

    – fixed Blender file uploads, sorry for the inconvenience!

    – difference with three.js – perhaps I’ll write a blog post on this :mail:

    – Verge3D license can be found in the distribution (LICENSE text file)
see also the license comparison chart here

    Thanks for diving in! :good:

    Hello Yuri,
for the Orbit Camera slow dragging, it’s only on Mozilla Firefox.
    It’s OK on Google Chrome.
    :bye:

Yes, we can reproduce this behavior. We’ll look at the issue, thanks!
