    Hi,
I am using 3ds Max. I did a puzzle to snap my camera and camera target to specific objects.

It seems that this also snap its “far clip plane value” to the object as well. Thus resulting in the image example. And now the rest of the image behind is clipped.

Is this a kind of bug?

    Thanks

    Hi,

It seems that the camera is located too far from the objects and the camera’s current far clip value is not high enough to properly render them. You can just increase the “Far Clip” value in the camera settings:

    Hi Ivan,

The camera far clip was originally ok.

Let’s say I started my scene with:-
    “Camera” at position Dummy_A object.
And my “Camera target” is at position Dummy_B object.

Everything is alright. I move my camera in the scene. Then do a snap puzzle “Camera” to Dummy_A.
And snap puzzle “Camera_target” to Dummy_B.

Then intention is to reset the camera position and target. Once the snapping is completed, the far clip displays the error in my screenshot. As if the “far clip” was snapped to Dummy B as well.

Ah, I see. That’s weird because the snap puzzle shouldn’t change the far value. Can you provide a test example to reproduce this issue?
