    Hi,
While using the “When Moved” puzzle, I want to trigger things dependent on whether a rotational value has been moved in a negative or positive direction.
and then trigger things dependent on that.
Q: can the delta be read as positive or negative to denote the value it’s reading?
i have this set up… and am getting only one result.

    puzzle rotate

    any advice on this?
i essentially JUST want to the logic to identify if the user is dragging LEFT or RIGHT…
… whereas the puzzle only really has the option to say whether it’s being dragged on a specific axis or not.
(as far as i can determine)

    Hi,

That delta parameter is always a positive value. You can probably use the get rotation puzzle to detect in what direction the object was dragged.

    hi yur, thanks for responding.
i was thinking the same thing.
thanks for confirming my thinking about the issue.

    do you mean..
so as to use in the field given where the delta is greater than in the “when moved” puzzle?

…or completely a different puzzle setup where i get the rotational value at start or “rotate drag”
    set a variable for that,
then get it again a few frames later, through a time puzzle,
and then compare them, and then set a variable saying that that has been done?
… in order to confirm that the user has dragged left or right on the dragged item.
