    I have a question about new gpu create instances :
    Will the instances be available in iOS’ AR ? I mean, will the instanced objects exported in USDz for iOS’ AR ?

    Unfortunately, instanced geometry is not supported by the USDZ exporter puzzle. In theory, we could implement baking for the instanced objects, but this would mean that the whole idea of optimized rendering for such objects would be lost. So there is no real benefits of using instancing with iOS AR. :unsure:

    I get that, for now i’ll continue using the clone puzzle.

    I have a request about it : the way it works is quite strange :
    Not a function, but a parameter to add to a function…
    The create instances seams better.

    Maybe we would be happy with a new puzzle : “create clone”, alike the create instances.
