I have a project that will require the use of the same object in many different locations and orientations. As an example imagine a classroom filled with tables and chairs. I only want to create one table and one chair and then lay them out in code or puzzles prior to the scene appearing. I have not found a way to do this and hoping someone has.

You can load one object from gltf file using Load Scene Puzzle and clone them using Clone Puzzle and then place them using Set Position Puzzle. Ot you can just use dupligroups (if you use Blender) to place linked chairs in a room and then export it as one gltf file.

Thank you for the information. Are you stating that in Blender (linked objects) are instances of the source model and are not counted in the scene polygon count?
If so does this work in MAYA or Max too?

    Thank you.

Sorry let me rephrase… Blender uses DupliGroups which are instances. So the question is if I load in a dupligroup into my Verge3D app. The number of polys is based on the initial instance of the object…not the sum of all the instances. My reason for asking is I do not use Blender…but Maya instances are just replicating the poly and ignoring instancing/cloning when imported into a scene.

Yes, unfortunally it’s supported only for Blender for now. Maya plugin in early development stage.
