CustomerIs it possible to play embeded Youtube or Vimeo video within the scene? Say there, a monitor in the scene that plays video while the scene is interactive.
Would that impact app performance online significantly?Or, would it be better to have the video stored as a file within the app?

visualizerCustomerHi
You can try typical video texture method.
You don’t need to store any vide in file itself.. it might be too heavy.Check video_texture in examples directory
I hope your I understood your question.

core3dCustomeri already trying to do that in the past and still looking for a good method.
what i do is i use external js library for video stream and html video element and then combine them in verge3d exec script puzzle to map on a 3d object.
i know its sound complex but its works for me.
Also they said with create canvas puzzle with website video playing on it like youtube etc. and then you can capture canvas element and apply it on a 3d surface. my first try was failed tho…2020-12-16 at 10:20 am #36562

GLiFTeKCustomerHi guys,
You might take a look a this: https://www.soft8soft.com/topic/css3d-plugin-for-verge3d/I think it would be good to “sticky” new plugins or have them have their own forum section so they stand out.
Just a thought.
