    Hi. Is it possible to change the surrounding white color on object to another color, if we use a PBR material ?

    You can setup it in the environment preferenses in background node or connect an environment texture to it for better quality.

    Yes, Matcap in this case works like Equireqtangular texture.

    Hi, sorry but Matcap environment supported only in GLSL materials (blender internal materials) and only as textires inside the materials not as environment.
