    Hi guys and gals!

I have a problem with the looping of a sound.

I have a project with background-music. It is a ca. 24sec long Beat that loops perfectly when played in the audio software. Waveform is perfectly connecting on replays.

However when it is played as a looped background-sound in the V3D App there is a short (loading-)delay in between playbacks and therefore a pause.

The sound file itself is 591kB in size, MP3 @ 192kbps, 44.1kHz and 16bit. The file is also preloaded in the puzzle.

Has anybody any idea why the loading occurs and how I can get rid of it?

    Kind Regards
    Gerulf

You might find this link helpful: https://www.soft8soft.com/docs/manual/en/puzzles/Sound.html

There are two types of sound…. “music” and “sound”. Music…or longer audio tracks will have delay between loops. “sound” is for short audio and loops and gets rid of that delay between loops so sound is seamless.

Hope this is helpful. You can also use the Arcade game demo as a guide for how the sound is looped.

Thanks for the reply. There is still a delay in between even if I set the type to sound – but I suspect it might be related to another problem that started to bother me. Puzzles do not seem to take any more effect…
