ParticipantHi, I am having an issue where I cannot easily type text into a javascript puzzle – the cursor does not line up with the correct character.
Please see attached screenshot for explaination.
As I type and delete text, the characters several steps behind the cursor are affected, not the characters next to the cursor.
It happens in both Chrome and Firefox, on a Mac OS. I updated my version (trial) of Verge3D, cleared my browser cache, and even tried it on another machine, and rebooted machines. I can’t fix the issue.
Any advice would be great, thanks in advance.

ParticipantI updated my version (trial) of Verge3D,
What v3d version is installed?
Puzzles and JS coding. Fast and expensive.
If you don’t see the meaning in something it primarily means that you just don’t see it but not the absence of the meaning at all.

ParticipantI have 4.1…. ahh! I see a 4.1.1 has just been released.
I just installed, restarted everything – still having the problem. As I type, the cursor moves ahead of the text, as if it does not quite line up properly with the text.
(screenshot shows how far ahead the cursor gets as I type a line)

ParticipantIn my case the text editor works with no issues.

ParticipantHi, thanks for the replies — same issue in Safari. Currently running “macOS Monterey 12.2.1”. I will install “macOS Monterey 12.5.1” update now.

ParticipantHi, updated to Monterey 12.5.1, cleared cache, restarted everything, tried Safari and Chrome, — problem is still there. If you cannot reproduce it, then it is something on my local setup – thanks for your continued help.
A workaround is I can paste text into the puzzle from another text editor.

ParticipantSo just for fun I tried to recreate the problem in other projects, and typing in those puzzles works fine – so somehow my puzzles for just a couple of my projects have somehow become corrupted.
