albiParticipantCan we show/hide meshes using a button and trigger animations within AR mode? (iOS & Android).
Response is much appreciated, Thanks.2024-08-07 at 7:12 am #76438
solidCustomerit should work if the trigger buttons are made inside the scene using planes. and get attached to the camera .

albiParticipantPlease note that I’m referring to AR mode, not WebVR.

ParticipantFor Android – possible.
Puzzles and JS coding. Fast and expensive.
If you don’t see the meaning in something it primarily means that you just don’t see it but not the absence of the meaning at all.

albiParticipantThanks kdv for the response.
Im curios why its not possible in iOS yet and Is there any way to crack this?
I was creating a WebAR Experience for both Android & iOS platforms. Experimenting how to make it more interactive.
Things I want to achieve ;
– after entering the AR mode and placing the content on a surface, the user should be able to trigger the animation of the 3D character only by clicking on a button.
– change/switch the contents with another button click. ie show/hide meshes inside AR mode.
– trigger audio by clicking on button.All the buttons, I will be making with 3D meshes, so is it possible to parent all these buttons to camera in AR mode as we do in webVR using Verge 3D?
Which of these will be possible in which platforms, using Verge3D?These all are my concerns as of now and thanks for your time reading all these and for your responses.

Quite possible and rather easy for Android. Impossible for iOS in Verge3D apps.

Is it for now and Can we expect an update any soon on this in future that will make possible in both platforms?
