CustomerHi,
It is actually possible without coding. You can use an empty object parented to the camera, with your object parented to this empty. Both empty and your object should have camera fit enabled, for example: to the left and to the bottom. See attached file.
I tried, but unfortunately, it did not work?
As per this quoted post, fit to camera is not working

CustomerI did, sadly nothing
Edit: to do camera fit:
1) create a dummy object to parent to camera
2) parent dummy to camera
3) clear parent inverse
4) copy name of original intended object
5) join original intended object to dummy object
6) rename joined object with name of original
7) shift+S to assign cursor to selected over targeted vertices to appear in camera viewport
8) deleted unwanted vertices misaligned due to fit to camera:
9) Choose “fit to camera” settings
(left in this case)Optional
Parent other object to “fit to camera” object1) Keep transform in this case to prevent vertex colors becoming black
2) Sensor fit for camera

CustomerHi,
You might open the browser console to see if there are any issues printed there. Fit to camera feature should work exactly the same for exported gltf and Sneak Peek.Nothing mentioned
First, I tried to parent to camera:
Unfortunately no changes, not even with auto, horizontal, vertical camera fit

StaffCould you please share exactly the same blend file that fails? The version you provided in your initial post definitely has parent inverse issue.

StaffThe console clearly states that the parent inverse matrix should be cleared for both t1 and t2:
BTH, considering the high prevalence of this problem we decided to implement checks and a warning message right on the “Fit to Camera Edge” panel in Blender. New feature will be available in the upcoming Verge3D update.
