    Hi everybody,

well my first try to use Verge3D is disappointing.
    I installed blender
then I installed Verge3D 3.9.1 as this version is used by the person I try to support.
I followed the instructions to start blender then click on
    Edit – preferences – Addons
But the Verge3D-addon is not listed
I googled for it and found another forum entry

Verge3D addon in Blender 2.82 missing

somebody there suggests to change the installationfolder to something simple like C:\Verge3d
so I installed Verge3D additionally to thsi folder.
Still the addon is not listed.

Now I’m stumped and don’t know what to do.
    @soft8soft-Team:
You are claiming that your addon helps people that don’t want to write code for functionality. Well it seems that a lot of knowledge about installationprocesses and logfiles and preferences-files is nescessary to make it work.

Does your quality-managemnt-team provide options where a detailed installation-log is created automatically for analysing theses errors?

Please note that the now old Verge3D 3.9.1 only works with Blender 3.1. Current Blender 3.2 is only compatible with Verge3D 4.

    Hello everyone,

Unfortunately it seems that I have the same problem with my colleague and I cannot solve it after searching for possible solutions in the forum.

I am new and use version of Blender 4.0 and Verge3D 4.5.1.

But unfortunately I don’t see any Verge3D option in Blender. Nor any registration in Edit/Preferences/Add-ons.

I have tried installing, uninstalling, deleting registry data… and it still doesn’t work.

Could someone please help me? I have to say that with 3DS Max it works correctly for me, but with Blender I can’t get it to work.

    Thanks in advance…

    Greetings.

    Hi carloszr,

    Sorry for those troubles.
How did you install Blender? Was it the official installer from blender.org or something else?

Anyway, could you execute Save System Info from Blender’s Help menu and attach the TXT file here?

    Hello Yuri!

    Thanks for the quick reply.
I downloaded the installer directly from the Blender website. (The latest version).
    Attached .txt

Something I also did was try to manually install the add-ons from C:\Program Files\Verge3D_for_Blender\addons\verge3d\
    In the Edit/Preferences/Add-on option.
    But it does not work…

    Thank you!

The .txt file seemingly was not attached due to wrong MIME type, a problem that we just fixed. Could you please try again?

    Yes! Maybe now?

Thank you. It looks nothing wrong is with your operating system.
Also could you check out the folder
    C:\\Users\\USER\\AppData\\Roaming\\Blender Foundation\\Blender\\4.0\\scripts\\addons
    if Verge3D is there?

    In the folder:

    C:\Users\USER\AppData\Roaming\Blender Foundation\Blender\4.0\scripts\addons

There is only 1 file with name “__init__.py”

Strange… I can suggest using the maxOS/Linux build for now and installing Verge3D manually as shown here.

    Hello Yuri!

    I think I have found a solution.
I have not been able to install the Mac version.
But, I have downloaded the previous version of Blender 3.5.0.
Now the Verge3D plugin appears after activating it manually in Add-ons.
I will try to work with this version.

    Thanks for the support!
