    Hi, So new to this so just want to check if anyone can help? I am trying to export a MAX file to gITF and I am getting this error?

    See attached.

    Is it my scene or am do I need a new install?

    Hi Breon,

    Sorry for the troubles. Could you isolate this problem in a simplistic .max file and share with us? It would help debug this issue a lot.

    Hi, thanks for the scene.

    The object that crashes is called “Character001”. This is a CAT Object which are not supported by Verge3D well. You can remove it to make your scene work. Meanwhile I’m going to add this issue to our priority TODO list for further investigation.

    Thanks so much for the update. The thing is if I remove the CAT then I cant control the movement. Is there another way to do this and make it work similar to how we have set it up?

    Hi Breon,

    a possible work around for now would be to bake the pose and delete the CAT before exporting. :-(

    Thanks for the message back… yeah I am going to try that but then the user cant freely move each element like we had setup in MAX

    Hi,

    So we are still trying to get this all working we create a new scene with different IK connections, which has exported (simpliified tests worked perfectly) but on the actual model, its pushed the geometry out in Verge. You can see on the attached image (red circles) and then I have a link to the 3DSMAX Model.

    Unfortunally, constraints that used in the scene not supported. Look at list of supported constraints.
