hi, i recently updated to 4.0.1, i noticed that my camera z position is out of whack, can see this by printing out its z position live, and watch it in the browser console, the reason i noticed is because i have a fog effect that is turned on when the camera dips under z 0,

After a lot of rotating and panning in my app, it seems as if eighter the rotation or panning is not affecting the position of the camera.

As i was writing this i noticed when i load the scene and do not touch the navigation, then the camera position drops rapidly, like its got physics applied to it, as soon as i touch the navigation, this stops and stays there. this is only the written location of the camera, the view is completely still as it should.

Please help, it was working as expected before the update

    best regards

i found out that autorotate camera puzzle screws things up, the camera z position drops continously when autorotate is active

Y and Z are swapped in your case. In .gltf the vertical axis is Y axis. And I don’t know what the authors of this standard were smoking when decided to assign Y as vertical axis )))

p.s. In Blender there is an option that takes this fact into account before exporting to .gltf.

Puzzles and JS. Fast and expensive.

If you don’t see the meaning in something it primarily means that you just don’t see it but not the absence of meaning at all.
