In view of AR/VR capabilities coming to the Web to be embraced by Verge3D soon, this explainer might be worth reading.

Thank you2024-05-29 at 10:22 pm #74432kdvParticipantWebXR doesnt work on Samsung
Does you Samsung have Google services installed and working properly? Did you installed AR Core?
Puzzles and JS coding. Fast and expensive.
If you don’t see the meaning in something it primarily means that you just don’t see it but not the absence of the meaning at all.

Yes I have installed everything and double checked, everything is up to date.
My phone is a Galaxy S22.
Also, I have reset to factory settings just to be sure that I would install everything properly again. As you can see in the video, the ARdemo is not working at all. When I enter AR mode there is a flash then nothing happen.
I have been on the Web XR website mentioned by Yuri and I have the same issue (I have tried one with the dinosaurs). When I want to enter AR mode, the screen freeze completely. On the other hand, I have found one that works. The example with the bag.

Unfortunately, the S22 model has some driver issues which prevents it from entering AR mode. You can follow this bug report to see if there is any progress in fixing this issue.2024-06-04 at 7:35 pm #74550jojopellerinCustomerHi Alexander,
Thanks for checking. Yes, it seems that at least the Samsung S22 and S23 fe (probably more version too) are not able to access WebXR.
Hopefully they will find a solution since it has been like this since many months already.2024-07-20 at 8:55 am #76073jojopellerinCustomerHello,
It seems that Samsung is not very committed to fix this issue..
WebXR works fine only on a few device such as the S24 Ultra (S24 doesn’t), The FOLD and FLIP (maybe some more that I haven’t tested).
It looks like the devices using Snapdragon processor don’t have any issue compared to those with the Exynos chipset. There is not much we can do anyway. On the other hand, the <model-viewer> works fine. My Samsung S22 doesn’t freeze and display the object correctly.
Would it be possible to create a puzzle that could export my object once it has been configured using <model-viewer> ?
I bought an addon with Kdv doing exactly this by exporting a USDZ for QuickLook on IOS and I wonder if we could do the same for android ?Thank you !
