    Sometimes you need some objects to be initially hidden in your scene. To make them invisible, first reveal renderability buttons in the Outliner:

    Blender 2.8: reveal renderability buttons in the Outliner

    and then set your objects (or collections) to not render:

    Blender 2.8: disable render for objects or collections

    Attachments:

    Thanks, that is useful. My method before was dumping things in a Collection that is excluded from export via Verge3D settings.
