Hello, looking to see if anybody has a solution for this.

I need to take an object, rotate it 45deg, and then animate it spinning around its *local* axis. (the object is a screw, I need to animate it being screwed in.)

This can be accomplished in Blender by using the “Copy Rotation” constraint and setting the owner to Local Space, but Verge3D does not support the Owner setting.

If anyone knows how this can be successfully animated, please let me know!

Well there are a few ways to do this.

You can create the animation in Blender and then use the PlayAnimation puzzle to play the aniamtion you created in blender.

You can rotate the object using object puzzle “set position (change position to rotation) and then increment the value via puzzles.

    Which method do you prefer?

Here are some screen shots for keyframing in blender…then using the Play Animation puzzle.

or without keyframes using the animate parameter puzzle.

Was able to find a solution using a follow-path constraint and twisting the path points.
