I am seeing rendering errors when viewing my Verge3D apps with Safari on Mac or iOS (all latest OS versions–apps created in Verge3D for Max 3.9.0). Textures and geometry are rendering incorrectly. I have previewed on multiple Macs and iOS devices, and am seeing the issues.

    Any advice?

    TIA

    Hi,

can you try to make more room between the black and the white surfaces? I think they are too close to each other, and Safari has troubles displaying that due to poor depth buffer precision.

    Hi Yuri,

Thank you for the response. However, here is an example of another model, created with an older version of the V3D plug-in, which renders correctly, in Safari. The solid surfaces are identical to the example model that I put in my initial post, including thickness, proximity, and materials.

    Any more suggestions?

    Hi Yuri.

I used Verge3D 3.9.0 to export a new .gltf file of the working model, and then used the App Manager to update the project. I uploaded it to the server, and it appears correct in Safari.

Once again, the model/scene is built essentially identical to the model that I am having problems with. So, even though this model is working, it’s not leading me to a solution for the one that is not working.

Again, thank you for your assistance.

can you share the .max file that is not working?

Thank you, Yuri. Please find the .max file attached. Note that I have multiple scenes that exhibit this same issue. However, I included only the scene that I previously sent the screenshots of.
