    Hi Guys!

Loading an image into the browser, also a big one, is done relatively fast. Video files are huge, but they get downloaded progressively via streaming. So, usually no preloading bar is required to view content on a website.

Question: is a progressive download and scene setup possible in WebGL/with Verge3D?

Proposal: 1. loading the floor and and a light, 2., 3., 4….: bit by bit all models of the scene will be loaded an visible.

Combined with info-overlays (divs with content), which are displayed during each loading step the loading procedure would be almost invisible.

Is this generally possible with WebGL and is there a workflow with Verge3D?

    Thanks for your ideas/answers!

    Hi,

Please check out the demo called Load Unload in Verge3D example applications. It loads additional scenes with this puzzle: https://www.soft8soft.com/docs/manual/en/puzzles/Scenes.html#load_scene
