    Hello community,
I just tried yuri’s xmas demo on an HTC Vive and I can confirm it works, it does track in space etc, although there is no controller interactivity.
Anyone knows what would be required to get the user’s controllers input to get some action going on? I’m simply aiming at the regular teletransport tools and object selection click.

I’ve tried the same on Sketchfab and it does automatically load the nunchucks and allow for teletransport and model scale….

If I can get that to run, then I’m sorted :)

    Hi,

It is possible to pick objects in the VR mode, but the teleportation is not implemented yet. We’ll make a more advanced VR demo to demonstrate how it works. BTW does this app work for you? https://www.soft8soft.com/topic/2-10-0-pre-release-2outline-is-not-working-in-vr-ar-mode/#post-10476

    hello,
project launches fine in firefox, there’s headset tracking, but there’s no interactivity whatsoever with the controllers. Hardware is working fine with other apps….

At the moment you can use the standard when clicked puzzle to detect controller clicks on objects. The hovering feature is in our plans!

    thanks Yuri,
Right, but controllers are not shown either (not provided on top by HTC?).
Maybe floor surfaces would need to be tagged/labeled as contact surfaces too?

yeah, we are still making our first steps with VR – I think those can be implemented
