Hi, I just stumbled upon Verge3d by accident even though I’ve been looking for a decent 3d HTML5 engine for years!! It looks amazing so far! I was just wondering if puzzles/code/interactivity works with the Facebook GitF export. I presume not but I thought I’d ask.

Facebook glTF export option is basically a more restricted format of Verge3D glTF export, so I think Puzzles should work in this case.
UPD if you mean whether Facebook can handle Verge3D Puzzles/ code then answer is no, as Facebook offers their own web viewer which is not scriptable (yet).2019-07-17 at 3:27 pm #17100
Actually I just tried adding the built in cube example to a facebook post but when I drag the exported cube.gld on the facebook post area nothing happens at all.
In the console it reads:
ErrorUtils caught an error: “Undefined attachment id: FILE”. Subsequent errors won’t be logged; see https://fburl.com/debugjs.

It looks like Facebook recently removed the possibility to post 3D models in favor of 3D photos. That’s sad.
You can still use embedable 3D applications with Facebook as it was before 3D posts.
Anyway, thanks for pointing that out. We’ll update the UI and the documentation accordingly.2019-07-18 at 11:18 am #17117
Ooh, that’s quite a major set back :( How exactly do you put an ’embedable application’ on Facebook? DO you just mean a regular facebook application? or it there some way of pushing an application as a post?2019-07-18 at 2:22 pm #17118
