    Is there a setting I’m missing? The main camera in the scene swoops down into a specific area, then switches to the local camera (with more restrictions and slower movement due to scale), but the cast shadows disappear when the camera switches, the reappear whenever it switches back to the main camera.

    Hi John,

    a likely reason is that your second camera’s far/near distance may be too close to each other, making the shadow volume smaller and shadows cut out.

    Hi John,

    The Clip End value on the second camera in your scene is 1000, try to change it to 100, that should help.
