Can't open Blender files from the App manager

Greetings, i have a question.
recently i updated to Blender 3.1 and tried out the latest verge3D (4.0 pre3) from that moment i was not able to open the blender files from app manager anymore …
now i re-installed everything as it was before (blender 3.0.1 and verge3D 3.9.1) everything works except for loading blender files from the app manager, not only the ones i made do not load but also the tutorial blender files that come with Verge3D do not load.
i assume there is a simple fix for this but so far i haven’t been able to figure it out. i hope somebody can help…

Can you open your blend file from the file browser by clicking on it?

Hi, thanks for the super quick reply !
nothing happens when i click on the Blend files… see vid.
or do you mean if i can open those files generally ?
i can open them from where they are stored in my computer, yes

I mean this issue tanget to file associacions of yur system not verge3d.

ok, not sure about that though. i de-istalled verge3D and then installed it again just now, should it not be possible to open the blend files for the tutorials at least, since they where freshly installed again with the new install of verge3D ?
or does it not work like that ?

It’s not a Verge3d problem but file associacions in your system. Re-installing Verge3D will not solve the problem.
