Hi, I am trying to place a screenshot image into a div that is intended to be printed or saved as a PDF for ‘quoting’. The screenshot image tends to have a lot of ‘whitespace’ because of the dimensions of the 3D space. Is there a good way to change the aspect ratio of the camera prior to screenshot to better suit printing? The attached PDF is the output I am getting.

    Thanks!

    Hi,

sure you can have another camera specifically for taking screenshots.

You can switch between cameras using this puzzle

    Yuri,

Thanks for the reply – the issue is not being able to switch cameras, but changing the size of the camera. If I resize the window containing the 3DSection and perform a screen shot, I get an image with an aspect ratio of the window. I am curious if there is a blender or camera setting to change the aspect ratio through a puzzle or javascript.

    Thanks,
    Jon

you can probably use the FOV setting in Blender to reduce whitespace.
