Strange behavior in 4.6 App Manager.

    OSX 14.4.1
    Blender 3.6.9

    Issue:
I installed V3D 4.6.0 to do some testing. I placed the 4.6.0 in a separate folder as I often need to switch between versions.

I swapped my file paths in Blender preferences to the 4.6 folder, saved the preferences, restarted blender, opened preferences, validated the file paths and the add on were at 4.6.

All of this proceeded as expected.

When it was time to revert back to 4.5.1. I repeated the same steps as above.
In Blender the file path points to 4.5.1 and the v3D add on says 4.5.1.
However when you go to the App Manager it states 4.6.0.
All the 4.6 changes are visible but the 4.5.1 applications that would normally show they need to be update do not indicate an update is required. The information icon also does not indicate a new version is available as it displays 4.6.0.

Question: Am I running 4.5.1, 4.6.0 or some weird mix? How do I get this back to normal?

    Hi John,
Perhaps the new version is still running as a background process. You might try to reboot your system.

Ending the Python process in the task manager should resolve the issue.

    never ran into that before

It never worked this way before 4.6

Puzzles and JS. Fast and expensive.

If you don’t see the meaning in something it primarily means that you just don’t see it but not the absence of meaning at all.
