Hi guys, I’ve discovered a problem that I thought was due to performance but I’m not so sure so thought I’d bring it up.

I have two configurator scenes, one of them has a point light in the scene, and turning it on/off causes a 1-2 second delay. I accepted this as just a limitation of WebGL.

My second scene I’m working on, I’ve added an area light to inside the building, but this time it stays always on – only now if I toggle some unrelated geometry on/off, we’re still getting the same 1-2 second delay.

Is this a known issue or is there way to optimise it to remove the delay? cheers.

a workaround i use for this is that at after the scene is loaded (with lights/geometry),i show a infoscreen/welcomescreen at 80% screenres. And in the background i unload/load the light/geometry thru puzzles.

In my experience it runs smoothly if it is loaded/unloaded once
