My project file before version 2.8.0 environment map does not orient correctly and seam stretch. Please take a look at the file attached.

This bug happens when an equirectangular texture assigned to the world. We will fix it in the upcoming Verge3D release. For now, you can either assign a CubeMap-based texture or switch to Cycles node-based environment.
