    I believe verge3d could generate alpha clipped shadows for plane object with alpha clip textures before version4.3. Now you can get only polygon shaped shadows.
    I think this is a serious bug for high quality visuals.

    Hi,
    Unfortunately, alpha clipped shadows has never been supported in Verge3D. However, we have plans to support this feature eventually.

    Do you know any workaround for the alpha clipped shadows in verge 3d?

    Is there any specific version in future where you plan to integrate the alpha clipped shadows?

    Hi,

    This feature is not easy to implement and might slow down the rendering. We’re still considering it for implementation. Possible workaround would be placing some fake geometry inside the actual model (with disabled shadows) that will simulate the shadow casting.
