    Hi,

recently I encountered a problem with the reticles on the Quest 2 – it can be reproduced in the WebXR emulator, too:

When entering the XR session the reticles can be turned off on the session event “connected” using “traverse controllers”, “hide” “get controller: ray/reticle”.

After exiting the XR session (“end AR/VR session”) end re-entering a VR session the reticles are both showing and can’t be turned off.

Is there a specific way to exit a XR session in a specific way or reset things before exiting so this doesn’t happen? Or is it about Verge3D or the WebXR API itself?

As usual – any hint, help, or pointing in the right direction very much appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Thomas

    Hi Thomas,

Indeed, this is a bug with XR session handling. We’re working on it now and going to release a fixed version in the upcoming Verge3D pre-release (scheduled in a few weeks).

    Hi Alexander,

thank you very much – I am really glad it is fixable, because I wasn’t able to find any reasonable workaround for this.
