    Hi!

Say I just have a simple cube on a plane. I’d like to move the cube on the plane using the arrow keys.

I’m sure there are many ways to achieve this. But I’m wondering about this specific scenario – if I use the create physics (world and body) piece, do I also need to use “apply force” to move the cube, or can it be done with the “set position” piece?

I wasn’t sure if using physics then binds you to only using those rules. I don’t know if I’m making sense. :)

    Thanks!

    Hi,

A recommended way to move a physics body by user input is to use the snap body physics puzzle. For example, you are moving an empty and snap your physics body to this empty every frame.

UPD If you don’t need physics in your scene then you just don’t use it :)
