    Hello,
since 2 hours I have an issue I couldn’t solve:
When I export the scene as gITF it gives me an Error, translated it means:
“The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process”

“# Error: WindowsError: file C:\Users\CADuser\verge3d_maya\maya_plugin\lib\export.py line 457: [Error 32] Der Prozess kann nicht auf die Datei zugreifen, da sie von einem anderen Prozess verwendet wird: u’c:\\users\\caduser\\appdata\\local\\temp\\tmpicfgmc.png’ # ”

I have already restarted the workstation (windows 10), closed the browser (firefox) all related tabs and restarted Maya of course (2020.3).

The preview with the Verge3D App Manager stays always the same.

    – Tested to save at different name and different location (just to check it) and it’s not saving at all. so it has not to do with the project.

    Thanks for advice

    Hi,

sorry to hear about those troubles. If you create a new project, will it export the default cube without errors?

I have found the error source – it’s very strange:
when I looked at the file which is mentioned in the error message, then this is a file texture, I created in the scene.
When I deleted it in “temp” it was again recreated and the error message in Maya came again.
When I deleted the texture in Maya it worked again.

I wanted a plane to have transparency and tested once a Tiff with transpency and once a PNG. Somehow the aiSurfaceShader had trouble with (was plugged of course in opacity). When I deleted the texture it worked again.
I will try to reproduce, to tell maybe more exactly… :)
