My scene has a number of curves that have been duplicated several times and then rotated, moved, and sometimes scaled. I noticed one set hadn’t had their scale and rotation applied, so I did that. This seems to have confused the exporter – there are now a few extra of those objects, in odd places. There are a couple of other issues like this – I have moved the camera, but it continues to load where it used to be. An object that is definitely in the blender file isn’t in the gITF file.

This blender file has been modified many, many times and it may be that these problems are due at least partly to not starting with a properly formatted set of objects. To test this, I created a new project and saved the blender file to that project. But the artifacts still are all there.

Is there a better way to try to ‘start fresh’ on a project, after having cleaned up the source blender file?

I uploaded the project in question to the network. If you want to look at it, it is the project called ‘STEMP-flythrough’.

Sure, of course. But it is a little big, so i’ve had to pare it down. The issues i mentioned continue to show up on the reduced version.

    – the object called StirlingOutgoingPipes doesn’t render
    – the objects called LavaTank-HeatPipes has several odd copies that shouldn’t exist
    – the camera appears in a spot it used to be in, but it’s been moved
    – only half the objects called LavaTank-HP-Scaffold render

Hi, sorry for late reptly. Thank you for the example, we found the problem and will fix it, but for now all objects that are not rendered and replased by another objects need to be renamed. You just can add some numbers or extra prefix to it to fix all issues.

Or you can make all your meshes inside objects unique to avoid this. This is happened because some objects has the one mesh in it, or some objects has the same name of the mesh because of linking and duplicating. We already know about this issue and will fix it in some near releases.

Hi Mikhail. Thanks for your help, i’ll try that now. This doesn’t feel like a late reply at all, your company is rolling out this product and there is a lot to do. And fortunately, i have time. Cheers.

Alright, the issues are all fixed. I renamed the meshes for objects that had problems until they displayed properly. The camera still wouldn’t display where i put it, but deleting it and making a new one fixed that.
