    What a wonderful software Verge3d is !

Sorry if this has been asked before, but is there a way to do all the hovering stuff I do in this scene (Outline/animation etc) when hovering on a mobile device?

    Thank you

How do you see it? Hovering with what? Your finger flying over a touchscreen?

Puzzles and JS. Fast and expensive.

If you don’t see the meaning in something it primarily means that you just don’t see it but not the absence of meaning at all.

    Hovering on mobile?
Do you mean by connecting a mouse via bluetooth or something? OR a pencil we use for iPad?

Thanks @visualizer and @kdv for getting back to me. Yes finger/pencil flying over a touchscreen, that’s what I am after. I think it makes a much clearer/ better UI if buttons highlight before the user pushes them …. but maybe I am the only one who thinks this?

    Thank you

Yes finger/pencil flying over a touchscreen,

That was a joke. How do you see interacting with a touchscreen (and running apps) without touching?

may be he is talking about a pencil on iPAD & not the mobile touch screen perhaps. He was not clear while mentioning this I guess.

Mobile game engines usually have a method of drawing touch trajectories, which is similar to desktop mice. We haven’t found a similar case with Threejs yet. It should be achieved by recording touch trajectories and then drawing them on the screen using Canvs

@vv4d yes this is exactly what I meant. The functionality of a user interface is much clearer if the buttons change when hovered/ touched over, so ideally the hover puzzle would also work on touch devices, tracking the touch trajectories and triggering accordingly . @soft8team maybe worth to update the hover puzzle with this functionality?

As soon as Safari or Google Chrome (or any other mobile browser) support those “touch projections” it will be possible. Not earlier.
