Help in cleaning file from Verge3D

My workstation with installed Verge3D 3.3 introduced a Scripted plugin Class: V3DExporterSettingsData into ANY 3dsmax file saved with it. Our render farm which don’t have and don’t need Verge can’t now render any of my files because of the missing plugin needed by the file. Is there any way to clean a 3dsmax file of it? There is a lot at stake here, this virus like behavior of Verge3D is concerning on many levels.

Also there no way to install Verge to just specific 3ds versions it’s installing itself into all of them.

Hi,
Please select all objects and use the Utilities->MaxScript->Verge3D->Remove Verge3D Params to remove all custom Verge3D params. Also, there is the “Auto-Assign Verge3D Params” checker in the Verge3D menu specifically for the cases when you don’t need cluttering your case with such params.

As for installing the version-specific version of Verge3D for 3ds Max, this is a good idea! Adding this task to our TODO list.

Also, in regards to your render farm. There should not be any dependency on missing custom params, you might want to report this issue to the developer of your rendering engine.

The renderer is VRay Next, distributed over Deadline.
Are you sure the “Scripted plugin Class: V3DExporterSettingsData” error are the Verge3D object properties? Sounds more like the object-less Verge3D exporter settings to me.

EDIT:
Using Utilities->MaxScript->Verge3D->Remove Verge3D Params to remove all custom Verge3D params didn’t helped. Files are still not loading. V3D Exporter properties?

I told Deadline to ignore missing DLLs for the 3dsmax file to solve this particular issue. Please find a solution because this setting is off for very good reasons.

Hello, same problem here. Even with Verge3D installed in all my pcs, sometimes there are files that i cannot open because of missing dll V3dexport. And the window of missing dll in all my files, (even with the last version already installed).
