Empty Blender Collections not available in Verge

I’m having an issue where i have a collection that has objects added to it as they load but verge wont show an empty collection in the dropdown of the “group of objects ” selector puzzle.

so i put an empty placeholder in the collection,
add my objects as they load.

To remove the empty placeholder, i was going to find out how to use filter() to remove objects from groups/collections (because i should learn how to do that anyway)
but that’s kind of low on my list of priorities right now.

(unless someone wants to paste the JS for it!

but is there another way to have empty collections show up in the puzzle drop down?
