I am starting to learn Godot at the same time i’m learning Verge3d, and i was just reading how helpful the glTF 2.0 format is to it. If Verge3d also uses glTF, that could make my life a lot easier, allowing me to use assets set up for it in Godot as well, and creating a library for users that is completely consistent between the online world made in Godot and the website media made in Verge3d.

Does Verge3d use this 2.0 version?

Yes, Verge3D is based on gltF 2.0. We added several extensions though (prefixed S8S_) to be able to load Blender’s GLSL shader nodes and other Blender/3dsMax-specific data. These extensions are likely to be ignored by other glTF-based tools.
