    Hello,

I’m a little green when it comes to well, everything. I’d like to get my hands dirty trying out the AR options with Verge3D and I’m wondering if someone can give me a hand or at least point me in the right direction to learn myself.

All I need is to be able to place and view a 3D object in AR and view it. Exactly like the “augmented_reality” farmer dude sample V3D provides in the app manager. No animation. Nothing fancy. Just drop the object and view it on a phone.

If I can just get a screenshot of the puzzles, I think I’ll be able to replicate it. I’ve tried with the farmer but I haven’t had much luck. I think the animation is throwing me off.

    I really appreciate your help.

Message to the Verge3D team: Lets get some more tutorials! This app has a lot of potential to be used for my business. In my case, the applications for web and marketing are HUGE. It can fundamentally change how I market my product and work with clients. If I can get a handle on how to use it you’ll have a paying customer.

    Thanks again.

    Hi,

you might try removing the animation puzzles from that example, than replacing the character with your own model (may be just a cube for the beginning), reexporting, adjusting the object selector in the Puzzles and running it again.

Beware of the cache issue – if you uploading it to Verge3D Network for testing, you should set the cache age parameter to 0 during development.
