Yes, it’s possible. THat’s how a wire made in Industrial Robot. It’s animation baked and according to movement of the robot knees it moves.

2021-08-12 at 6:36 pm #43620vernCustomerWhen you say it was ‘animation baked’ how do you do that in 3DS Max so that it works with Verge3D?
And does it make the animation smoother vs if you used the ‘set animation frame’ puzzle without baking it first?
I’m using a slider with the ‘set animation frame’ puzzle but it isn’t very smooth because it is moving to each frame instead of smooth interpolation like when you use the ‘play animation’ puzzle.

2021-08-16 at 8:57 am #43666vernCustomerSo baking the animation means it is putting keyframes for each bone on every frame right?

Could you, for example, bake into keyframes a cloth + wind simulation? How would you approach this in Blender?

Here’s a simple tutorial how you can do it.

2021-08-19 at 3:01 am #43739vernCustomerThank you Mikhail! I understand.
So is there anyway to make an animation time-based so that it runs much smoother when using the ‘set frame’ puzzle to scrub back and forth through an animation?
